Ok. If you’re hiding it. Probably shouldn’t have it. So quit acting like they are gonna fine you for having a dr. Seuss book. Freaking dramatic ass teachers

  2. Ashley M on March 8, 2023 at 10:48 pm

“Age appropriate, free from pornography, and suited to students needs”. Seems easy enough to figure out.

  3. Jiazhen Wang on March 8, 2023 at 10:49 pm

Damn, I used to think this kind of shit only happen in China

  4. WigWoo1 on March 8, 2023 at 10:50 pm

Or you could just… remove all the books until you know which ones are acceptable

  5. Sig XM5 thumb on March 8, 2023 at 10:50 pm

So why are you people defending showing porn to children it’s bad enough they find it on their own but to just show it to them right there all out is not ok

  6. Empire of Eire Media on March 8, 2023 at 10:52 pm

    * states what they don’t want kids reading *
“I don’t know what they want”

  7. Penny M on March 8, 2023 at 10:52 pm

There are absolutely disgusting books being placed in school libraries; rape, murder, graphic sex acts in a graphic novel form which is full on porn, suicide, etc. That’s why we have these laws.

Comparing these disgusting, not age appropriate books to the banning of Ann Frank is absurd.

of all the people to have power over everyone in florida why is it desantis. imagine being so uneducated and paying so little attention in school that you think high schoolers should be reading goodnight moon instead of to kill a mockingbird or something. cartoonish levels of stupid

  11. A M I on March 8, 2023 at 10:56 pm

I think this is hilarious because my Primary School didn’t check the books at all. I was reading Noughts and Crosses at 10 and loving it.

  12. Luke Logan on March 8, 2023 at 10:56 pm

I call BS. Free from pornography is too hard to figure out? Books that have sexual content is too hard to figure out? Lazy reporting and even lazier teachers if that’s really what they’re doing.

  13. Skyler Cook on March 8, 2023 at 10:56 pm

good news! if it was a problem the state would vote against it, kinda like how they voted for this…maybe one day people will understand that no one ideal is correct and that you cant tell another group of people 1000 miles away what to do…otherwise all the states with legal weed should be considered criminal seeing as the federal government and most the country still dont like it…but no no no only certain states and ideals get to make rules for the people not living in their jurisdiction…its almost like theres 3-4 cities that have these ideals and are pushing them; and all of them are places with extreme poverty and extreme violence, and you wonder why no one wants to share their ideals…or we could always talk about those cities and how they have 0 GDE (none have raw goods they export, only finished products and services) and would fail without support from every other state and those theyre trying to control…

    Nice lie

All of the teachers at my school were giving out their books for free, so 👍

    Criminals blaming the victim’s overreaction.

  17. Skydiving Squid on March 8, 2023 at 11:04 pm

Nice leftist spin. Totally realistic. Im sure you wouldn’t object to me using the 1st amendment and my LGTBQIA+ status to sell a book written with the intent of grooming children then? I mean, educating them and making them and their parents more inclusive.

    I appreciate your support!

And if I dont have your support you’re a homophobe/transphobe/bigot/right-winger… that’s how that works, right?

  18. St u on March 8, 2023 at 11:06 pm

Age appropriate. Wow if you don’t know what’s appropriate or not shouldn’t be a teacher

  19. Teddy S on March 8, 2023 at 11:06 pm

This is one of the most disingenuous interpretations of what is going on, and the idiot that made this video knows it.

  20. Admiral Sixkiller on March 8, 2023 at 11:07 pm

You know why? Because a bunch of child predator perverted pieces of shit put adult content in school libraries and the school boards didn’t prevent it. So if you agree with this mockery of this book covering video, it means you support the sexual grooming and molestation of children.

  21. Chris A on March 8, 2023 at 11:12 pm

everything about this is a lie. but it is the washing compost.

  22. Hannes on March 8, 2023 at 11:13 pm

Ah so you just want to misunderstand the origin of the law and all. Got it.

  23. WhiteNorth on March 8, 2023 at 11:14 pm

I mean it’s a pretty simple law. Don’t have books with pornography in them or that aren’t age appropriate in the classroom. Kids in grade 3? Boxcar children. Grade 4: Geronimo Stilton. Grade 7? Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys. Grade 8? The Vindico. Highschool? The House of the Scorpion, Crabbe.

It’s not hard to figure out if they’re age appropriate or not. Should Looking for Alaska be read by children before grade 10-11? No. Should l8r g8r or Kite Runner be on elementary book shelves? Probably not.

Elementary age btw is 13 and under.

  24. Twitter sucks on March 8, 2023 at 11:21 pm

The First Amendment does not apply to public schools… This is literally the most brain dead short I’ve seen in an hour…

  25. Sr H on March 8, 2023 at 11:22 pm

It is very obvious what books are not appropriate for kids. But I understand that this video is made for humor reasons.

  26. That_one_guy_is on March 8, 2023 at 11:24 pm

If you can’t figure out that that books that have a sexual message or depict sexual acts are inappropriate you don’t belong in a K-9 classroom, you belong in jail.

  27. tibdragger on March 8, 2023 at 11:25 pm

What part of pornography free is hard to understand?

  28. Spit Likes Fire on March 8, 2023 at 11:26 pm

I’m about to move to Florida rn actually soooo yay

  29. cheeseisgud 115 on March 8, 2023 at 11:26 pm

Is it really that hard to not give kids porn?

  30. RABID RABIDS on March 8, 2023 at 11:26 pm

Remember, It’s not about "protecting the children. It’s about controlling them, because well educated people are too difficult to control.

  31. yamspaine on March 8, 2023 at 11:27 pm

Pretty sure that if it is promoting genital mutilation it is not ok. If it promotes screwing anything that moves, it is probably not ok..

  32. Jerad Murphy on March 8, 2023 at 11:27 pm

Sounds like someone’s upset they can’t show kids porn

  33. Lawson Kennamer on March 8, 2023 at 11:27 pm

    "Do not recommend this channel"

  34. Lord Derpington on March 8, 2023 at 11:27 pm

We should ask the Germans what books they deemed inappropriate for children.
That ought to get us on the right track, Inshallah.

  35. Aedan Eriks on March 8, 2023 at 11:28 pm

As a Floridian in school I can confirm this is not true. They did ban pornography and anything regarding sex for elementary schools because why should a child need to be exposed to that at that age. Also have not banned any history books like people want you to believe. They were actually just tired of angry parents calling schools because they’re 2nd grader is talking about sexual orientation. People just want you to be angry about anything so they stir up a lie that sounds horrible until you see what’s actually going on. People of my generation love to blow things way out of proportion.

  36. Stare a hole through you on March 8, 2023 at 11:28 pm

Kids today will never read “A Child called It” 🤔 idk if that’s a bad thing, I just know my entire class read that growing up, and it was pretty graphic. No one complained about that though

  37. Shaina Eden on March 8, 2023 at 11:30 pm

….. so it’s an issue to not have porn in classrooms … and to have sexually explicit books in elementary school classrooms????

  38. wxbrainiac on March 8, 2023 at 11:30 pm

Hmmm the government censoring what books should be provided for kids to read sounds pretty unconservative to me

  39. Mountainman1999 on March 8, 2023 at 11:31 pm

    Damn just use common sense

  40. Nathan Madox on March 8, 2023 at 11:31 pm

The dumber you make kids the more likely they are to vote republican

  41. Madison P on March 8, 2023 at 11:33 pm

I’ve gotten more traumatized from fanfiction than I ever had from an actual book.

  42. Mike_phenix on March 8, 2023 at 11:35 pm

Idk how the rule of don’t be inappropriate with kids or have books with nudity/explicit content is so hard to guage. If this is such a big issue for you, you might be a creep

  43. Bad MF on March 8, 2023 at 11:35 pm

If you don’t live in FL, you should myob. We care about our children here, you can lie and make all the jokes you want, but the joke is really on your multi-colored hair, weird ass, don’t know if they are a boy or a girl clown kids 🤷‍♂️
