A history of South Park City Museum in Fairplay, Colorado spanning 161 years. A Ghost Town of sorts, the museum is packed full of Old West History, original buildings, and over 60,000 artifacts. A visit to South Park City is a bit like time travel. South Park City is an 1880s Mining Boom Town with 43 buildings and structures from the late 19th century.     I have a lot of wonderful memories of my time in South Park City. I grew up in Fairplay in the 60-70’s and this was my playground for so many years. All those who work to preserve this special place are much appreciated! Great video!

    Just went there today after driving by for 35 years saying we need to go there. We loved it and will definitely be coming back.
