So Awsome!! I’ve been metal detecting for years and most know you don’t get into it to get rich but on occasion it does happen. I’m from upstate NY and in the days of the depression it was common for people to bury money and then they would die without telling anyone and now these hoards of money just sit waiting to be found. I’d love to find one. My best find is 12 gold rings in one day at an old swimming hole and the water had dropped several feet and found all the rings and different coins in that area. Also found a large cent from 1803, a very cool find also found a Ford coin from the Chicago world fair that took place in 1935 and found this coin in upstate NY . You wonder how did it make it here? That’s why love detecting. You never know what your going to find and everything has a story. Thanks guys for sharing your adventures that was incredible. Man would I love the chance to detect a place like that! Thanks again and take care and stay safe and healthy

I have an exact knife set like that one. My father brought it back from India in 1945. However, ours is carbon steel….that one seems to be stainless, as it is still shiny. Cool finds. Possible the stash is not the mother load but left in place for a later time to dig the load…..maybe close by.
They also tared the walls to get the rocks to stick!! Ive taken mushrooms in those mines before!

at 22:22 when Dave looks at this iphone the time is 12:32. When I was watching this youtube video almost 3 months later I look at my phone when I see his, and it was also 12:32 on my phone. So I am pretty sure I will find the next treasure. Bring the chopper to Texas boys, lets go huntn.
