Metal detectors need to be tuned and retuned to the ground you’re working… And each detector takes some getting used to, to decipher the good signals from the trash or false alarms. I use a Fisher Gold Bug. White’s also makes really good detectors. Basically, with metal detectors you get what you pay for.

My stepdad was a huge junker and antique collector. He had this big chest that was super old and it was filled with all sorts of crazy antique stuff. Anyhow, he literally has that exact same fork and knife set that slides n locks in the wooden holder. Until now I’ve never seen another one like it. Same clips, same design, same everything.
