I think one of them in the recent past buried that stuff. It is in a lil too nice of shape to have been buried in the early 1900. It never rains out their? Had paper money that they were able to un fold? This is fake people! Think about it. Look how nice that shovel is! Good idea to get views. But look how nice the blanket is.

Any of you take the stuff back to a lab to have it tested?

Finding a shovel and knife together, a good chance it was a personal grave site for family memorabilia. Or trying to hide personal affects of someone. Look in surrounding area with an underground sonar system, probably find the bones.

Especially the years on the shovel, doesn’t seem like someone would make the effort to come out there and bury it, unless there is either a personal reason or someone trying to hide things.

A miner would typically take their tools with them. Those tools weren’t cheap to just replace every time they had failed to find stuff.

  12. UnrulyGamerzZ on March 16, 2021 at 4:57 am

No one here looks like they can survive in the wild much less hunt for treasure in a place like this.

  13. Trever's Everyday Life on March 16, 2021 at 4:57 am

I hate Youtubers that do this shit all of this is clearly staged. The sand around would not be loose, the chisel would be round if it was old instead it is an octagon. The rope from the blanket would be very brittle. And the cutlery would be rusted.

  14. RedBeard yt on March 16, 2021 at 4:57 am

I have that same knife set I got from my grandfather

  15. Jordan on March 16, 2021 at 4:59 am

You have taken Redbeard into the mine. I would have loved to have seen him get lost in there with y’all…

The shovel they found is a military entrenching tool. Soldiers used it to dig fox holes and trenches. For protection

    Fake

  35. AEON on March 16, 2021 at 5:24 am

@HeavyDSparks – You know why you found the gear hidden right? Along with some money? It’s so the miners that are scouting areas do not have to keep carrying it all to the location. That is a spot they were going to return to but something happened. They are found here and there. But there is more in that area than what was found bro. That area was used as a starting "Base Point" I would search a mile all around it at least.

  41. DE Shrek on March 16, 2021 at 5:30 am

Y’all can call it click bait all you want, finding anything out of the ordinary when you metal detect is exciting as hell. Considering the items found in the sand flats, it’s safe to say it could have been left by a shell-shocked WWII veteran who used that area as his place of solitude post-war.

  42. Jeff Wood on March 16, 2021 at 5:31 am

You guys should go check out and do a vlog of the meadow hot springs then go out to the Indian hyrogliphics in the west desert of Kanosh, you can find alot arrowheads and really cool stuff out there, it’s not too far from the meadow hot springs.

  43. Darryl Fauc on March 16, 2021 at 5:32 am

It was also used as a weapon at times…

  47. snow hawk3000 on March 16, 2021 at 5:35 am

the shovel you guys found was used by the us army to dig out "foxholes" and trenches i know this because of my grandfather has on at his home the one you found was probably used i the pacific theater of war
