That antique car was sweet! I’d take a ride in that Dodge Challenger any day.

I love watching videos like this, where we can see areas that we’re not likely to ever see on our own. Thanks for the tour buddy’o!

Just got back from taking this route yesterday. Beautiful scenery going through Superior although there is a steep grade going back down which is kinda scary. Looks a lot more scenic going on a motorcycle then in a SUV. What kind of video camera were you using? Cool video, not a lot of background noise.

I thoroughly enjoyed that. I love watching your tour guide type rides, where you go exploring and explaining what we’re seeing. As I watched I wondered what life would be like in each place (a habit of mine).

I was especially intrigued with Superior, being on the cusp of decline and increase. The current state of affairs would whittle the population down to the older, the more independent, and the fringe characters, I’m guessing. I like towns like that. I imagine a guy could pick up a home and land parcel for very little there.

Thanks taking the time to do what you do 🙂

Sad to see those small towns just fade away. I’m sure the residents are happy about the new business coming up.
That US 60 was pretty cool!
So weird there’s a town called Miami in AZ; would love looking through their antique shops. That Challenger was hot! Love those classic old cars.  Haven’t heard of OddFellas.

Nice video, and educational for the viewers. I’ve saved this to my large Arizona playlist, to cover the scenic stretch between the Superstitions and Globe. Thanks!

Fantastic to see how the areas just rise and fall depending on the mines. There are a lot of towns here in Australia that were built because of the gold rush back in the 1800s that are little more than stone foundations, and at the same time, other towns prosper because they found different ways to stay and make a living. Living and standing history in towns like these always fascinates me, so many stories that never really get told to the world.  Thanks for showing us around that little part of AZ.  Stay safe out there Mate!!

Thanks for this vid. My parents moved to Globe after WW2, Dad worked at the office of a copper mine for a short while but they got so homesick they moved back to SE Texas. We went thru Globe in the early 1960’s on vacation, but I barely remember anything due to being a child.

I grew up, there. Went to Miami and Globe schools. Beautiful place, crazy people. But a great life.
