Uranium Prospecting in Poison Canyon NM

This is a video documentary and guide to Uranium Prospecting. This trip was to Grants New Mexico, more specifically to Poison Canyon. We only prospected in fields, not in abandoned mines which is more dangerous. The exact location need not be disclosed because it does not take much online effort to locate the scuttled Uranium Mines and their associated dumping fields. We also visited the Mt Taylor Mine, but remained outside of its parameter. Please note that there are many dangers to prospecting for Uranium that include; Rattle Snakes, Dangerous Terrain, Dehydration, Heat Stroke, Etc. Never travel alone. Always leave an itinerary with loved ones. Always over hydrate. Be careful; its not the radiation that kills.
