    You can find viable deposits in places where mining already destroyed the land. I am from a town in New Mexico that is dealing with the effects after more than 40 years.

    Uranium is already naturally in most all public water. I’m not sure why people don’t research the modern strict regulations and realize that modern uranium mines leave the mine areas less radioactive than before they showed up. It’s like they are paying money to clean up the environment.
