I love your channel. It’s both educational and quirky. Nice job. Just wish your channel had way more viewers/subscribers; it deserves that.
Chis if you want westerns ruined for accuracy, go check out Arizona Ghostriders channel.
Awesome video fantastic knowledge beautiful pieces and some interesting history so cool thank you
Why haven’t we seen "common" Moonstone on any of these state gemstones episodes? Like the grey, white, peach, and silver/transparent adularascent schiller Moonstones, they aren’t that common in my experience but I have found a few VERY good specimens that can be cut into ring stones. I have a "grey" Moonstone that actually looks blue-purple more than it does grey. That is pretty rare if you ask me
Love these Gems Across America series. Keep them coming!!
New Mexico, whoot whoot! I have much awaited this video. Would appreciate any info from the Land of Enchantment, most specifically SouthWest NM. With all the blue rocks featured I’m surprised to not see Luna [blue lace] Agate. Still in Luna county, a rhyolitic lava flow has created astonishingly beautiful agate thundereggs. Near the flourite mines on Cooke’s peak is an old chrysoprase mine. Dolamite and manganese mining threaten a majestic mountain which hosts world-class ibex hunting. Cooke’s Peak has a rich history from it’s name to petroglyphs to sagenite and psilomolane. Maybe a video dedicated to gypsum, mainly selenite. The Naica mines are other worldly, yet selenite can be found in so many different forms all over New Mexico. Opal, obsidian, and carnelian abounds in the state. Anything on Kilbourne Hole. Phosphorescence near Lordsburg. Southern NM is the only source of Trinitite. And one of the world’s most intrigueing, Bixbite, has been found in Nuevo Mexico. πΆππππΆ
All those gemstones found in New Mexico are so beautiful and amazing.ππ It’s very interesting to know them and how they’re form.π There are so many blue gems there, which is my favorite color.π₯°ππ It’s an odd nickname for that smith gemstone. Yes, please do another video about more gems from New Mexico.π€ π²π½πππ΅π Nice video and like your gem bolo tie.ππ
Just dropping a comment to ask what happened to Natalie? Is she coming back?
Happy to see Christopher and Elizabeth from time to time still.
this was cool
i’ve seen some faceted linarites and they were of the most gorgeous blue color i’ve ever seen. shame they’re rare and also very very soft and fragile. π those woukd make delightful jewelry if they were a bit harder
