So you idiots don’t even tell us what state it was found or where it was found?

    It’s true, I found it.

  6. Olena Mcquagge on May 2, 2022 at 5:18 pm

Many people bought his book The Thrill of the Chase hoping to obtain some hints. If Forrest doesn’t reveal those hints, then he should give everyone that bought a book their money back. Otherwise, someone will file a Class Action Lawsuit against him. Wanna bet?

  7. Caroline Tillia on May 2, 2022 at 5:18 pm

Give a little and receive a little. Give a lot and receive a lot. Glad he did not waste his money on treatments that would not work.

His first name is Forest is that a clue?

  10. Michelle on May 2, 2022 at 5:22 pm

I spent more than 20 years of my life growing up in the Rockies and never even heard about it! My soul is crushed! Great Job to the finder!

  11. Olena Mcquagge on May 2, 2022 at 5:22 pm

So, when is the solve coming out? Explaining all the clues and also which hints in TTOTC relate to which clues in the poem. How is letting us know where it was secreted going to reveal the identity of the finder? I think someone gave Fenn the correct solve, he had a change of heart and decided to retrieve it or have someone else get it for him. Back East? That’s too vague….Under a canopy of stars in the lush forest of the Rocky Mountains is more vague than the poem itself. Where is the solve?

  12. Diggs4ever on May 2, 2022 at 5:22 pm

I dont believe that he buried it 10 years ago and the person who found it was told where to get it after fen just had it buried after the last death

Here now with a twist ending! The person who found the box re-hid it with a new riddle! More tonight at 7.

  17. CSJiGSaW on May 2, 2022 at 5:29 pm

Its a lie!! Its always has been a lie. That’s why the person who found the chest will never be know. It will never end up in auction. Its a scam for the book. After the last death that recently happened. He felt bad and decided to report it has been found. It was all staged!! He should be charged with the all the deaths for being a fraud…

  18. Game bros on May 2, 2022 at 5:30 pm

Starts in a recession ends in bad times…coincidence I think not?

  19. Dave Rose on May 2, 2022 at 5:30 pm

Old man is a master troll…lol. ain’t no damn treasure. Think about it the one who hid it is also confirming it was found.

  20. poppet shadow on May 2, 2022 at 5:33 pm

I feel like in honor of the people who died, and closure for many people looking for this treasure, Mr. Fenn should release the location, and explain (in detail) the correlation between the clues in his poem and the location where the treasure was found. Otherwise people might be tempted to think it’s discovery is a lie and more people could potentially lose their lives searching for it. I couldn’t care less about the person who actually found it, or what they do with it.

You call that a story!? Stories have an ending.
Who found it? Where was it?
Did it change someone’s life? How?
Are your stories written by 5 year olds?
    Do you employ journalists?

  29. Chad Borri on May 2, 2022 at 5:45 pm

This thread is interesting to say the least. Especially the time it was posted on the 22nd of May. Did Fenn say it was found by somebody from the East? If so that’s weird…………… Look at posts 3,4 and 5…..   http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/cache-hunting/633993-partial-solution-forrest-fenn-treasure.html

  30. yogizorch on May 2, 2022 at 5:47 pm

Ok so the guy that supposedly found it doesn’t want to be known. That’s fine but Fenn needs to go over his poem and show how his clues would lead you to where it was. There’s no reason not to tell people where it was unless it was never there.

    https://www.westword.com/news/forrest-fenn-treasure-discovery-a-hoax-says-ex-wife-of-search-victim-11723178

Forrest Fenn is a cultural thief who scavenges history as if he owns time itself. This hoax of a treasure hunt is a reflection of his empty soul.

Forest Fenn owes it to the searchers at this point to reveal where it was. His statement with more clues? I was like holy crap more clues? Really?!? After we hang on his every word for so long this is all we get? “It was under a canopy of stars in the lush, forested vegetation of the Rocky Mountains and had not moved from the spot where I hid it more than 10 years ago,” Great chase but seriously the searchers deserve to know where. Period.
