You have any stories around El paso Texas? I got a jeep and some time on weekends and I’ll head out to search. I love adventure and the searching part. That’s why I love prospecting and dropping things while I’m working on the cars I fix lol

One of my friends found a treasure of a mummified head and eventually the rest of the body of a prostitute in the Pahrump, Nevada area. WOO HOO! Not as good as finding gold, but he found something that didn’t belong out in the desert. lol.

History books might say otherwise but……I suspect the Spanish Conquistadors traveled thru parts of the Utah and Arizona deserts, Lost treasure might still be there.

The Gold Mormon Dollars that were stolen from the LDS Mint is definately a good metal detector story. You know those Golden dollars are out there somewhere. My greatest thought is finding one of the gold dollars in the ground while metal detecting. Soo heres one story I know about the LDS Mormon Gold Dollars. For many years they tried to find proof that the Gold Dollars existed and were taken. No one speaks about that they did create a few $50 or $100 gold dollar LDS coins. Soo the legend states that a few were made of each dollar amount and werent suppose to get out into the public but the ones that were stolen are those few of those coins. Imagine finding one of those in the ground. Theyre priceless and need to be handed over to the LDS church for the Church to reserve in their history. They would be priceless to find if anyone ever found one. The secret lies with Jason Taylor. Everyone needs to read his story.
