This Guy Was Ripping Down A Wall In His Basement When He Found A Box Full Of Life-Changing Treasure
We all talk sometimes about needing to get work done around the house, but we almost always find ways to avoid it. After reading this story, however, you’ll be more eager than ever to start tearing up those old floorboards. Because this is a story of hidden treasure discovered at home, and it certainly beats finding a few nickels down the back of the couch.

If that money had been in a savings account or an index fund, it would have been worth a lot more, but not for this couple.
I like the , I found a second box but before I open this which definitely has more money in ,let me continue ripping down the ceiling. Instead of pop the box open immediately like a normal person. I think I might call this shenanigans
Back in the day they didn’t have banks they used mason jars and would bury there money..so there’s a lot of treasure out there
For the love…GET. TO. THE. POINT.
Looks like kids lunchboxes of the day.
After my dad passed away I sold the family home. While packing thing up I found a Morgan Silver Dollar he had in an old wooden jewelry box. Not very exciting, but at least I have it to remember him by. I will pass it along to our son when it’s time to go to my reward.
Boring intro
Why all the swastikas….
The box is just like a lunch box I had in grammar school ( 1950s era).
It was a bank robbery…
Alll bills should be collectable
Must’ have been a million gazillion dollars.
Thank you to stretch it to only 6 minutes and 34 second. You could easily stretch it to two hours.
Get to the point, it is a lunch box.
After speaking with lawyers that would be the last person people I would get involved with when it came to this
Bootleggers money right there.
When I inherited my aunt’s house, we found money in the pages of various books. She was a hoarder, so there were a lot of books. We found about a thousand, but who knows how much we missed.
Those bills are valuable.
Don’t tell anybody. It’s free money just blow it on coccaine and strippers.! Lmmfao
Thank you for dragging it out
The bills, being that old, were likely all valuable!
I’m going to hide a tin in my wall but put a dildo in it instead of money.
I knew of a family when I was a kid that moved into a house and promptly found a skeleton of a Native American. Back then then simply said ”We found bones belonging to an Indian!”. Not worth much, though, compared to what the couple found.
This story could be told in less than 2 minutes
Days after the depression …people didn’t trust banks ….or from a great success ful heist…
All we found when I bought my house 3 years ago is like 2 car toys, a school bus sticker and a dirty white shirt since my house was a daycare for kids and apparently the basement was the main room
This should have been a one minute video.
Would’ve sent some off to PMG for grading. What dumbasses to put it in the bank. This made me sick lol
They got ripped off
Sounds to me like this money was being hidden because whoever didn’t trust the banks. Then as they got older, perhaps they forgot about it. Then it takes several decades and the new home owner is doing some house fixing to then find the stash. We never got that lucky.
Hey, I wonder. Do you need to pay taxes on that?
why a banana toothbrush🤣🤣🤣
I always use a yellow banana toothbrush to document my findings!
I found a million dollars in my bank acct.. but i put it there. Weird.
I love this damn story
You are to long winded get to it!
Too much waffling just get to the point of the story.
I hid TREASURE on Windom Peak! go to my channel to find it!
1940s …a mob house….
Congrats
How much in taxes do they owe .
At the time .33 cents an hour was good money, and the price of gold was about $20 an oz, the original owner was extremely rich
As soon AS I hear this voice, I realize that these vids are usually made up, CLICK BAIT. Most do not even sound like the story is real.
In modern times, it wouldn’t be unbelievable for someone to stash away an extra, 20, 50 or 100 dollars a, wk or month. But back in 1971, the avg housing price was only 25k. Good luck finding anything decent under 300k (for those same houses) on avg today. The newspaper & latest dates on the bills, indicated 1950s. Meaning, the avg house value would have been closer to 20k. I would wonder how these people were able to hide away more than they would have paid for the home. Were ppl paid that much better than we are today? (Probably). But what if they were bank robbers or this was the home of DB Cooper. That’s just fun to theorize about
What would have been nice is if they had made an effort to find the family members of the owner of the money. 🙁
I have a 20 dollar bill I found it’s 100 years old
I collect old school banknotes. This would surely cause me to seize…
Good for them!
Whoever saved that was greedy and didnt share its location, when the person died that was it,finders keepers.
Dude said “Probably a previous family’s kids writing their names” completely ignoring the swastika.
