I’ve encountered a handful of diverse characters, while digging for “precious stones”, in Florida.
I wouldn’t dare hunt, in a state park, but this video sure left me wanting to hit the woods!

  26. Cole robert Mcnamara on July 19, 2021 at 7:13 pm

The funny thing is diamonds are actually not that rare. Debeers controls most the diamond supply in the world. They actually have vaults filled with diamonds. So by being able to control the supply they can claim there rare at the same time. That way they can justify suckering men into shoveling out $$$$$ for them. Debeers could flood the market if they wanted and diamonds wouldn’t cost shit. Don’t get me wrong as in the grand scale of stones yes there rare , there not just in the ground everywhere like say quartz. There are gemstones that are a lot more rare then diamonds, ones that are found in literally one tiny spot in the world.

  27. Jambi Pickel on July 19, 2021 at 7:13 pm

it’s kinda sad actually. Those people believe diamonds to be a lot more valuable than they actually are. 200 diamonds in NYC is not retirement money.

  28. 13_cmi . on July 19, 2021 at 7:13 pm

I went here once. Found some rocks that looked like they had sulfur on them and your average rocks. It was still fun though going there as a birthday present

  29. Todd Cooper on July 19, 2021 at 7:14 pm

Remember DeBeers has the worst job. They have to check everybody’s assholes.

Only 1 out of 493 people who go here find a diamond, according to the stats in this video. Since it costs $10 per day to enter the park, you can average 1 diamond for every $4,930 you spend.
