FG 3-4: The Blue area is a bird; the reverse of a blue/Man bird is a pink/Lady Bird. The bird is a reference to Lady Bird Johnson with the tail of the bird depicting Bald Hills Road and the brighter blue dot being the spot where the casque is buried.

The blue center is the paved road, the black border is the unpaved edge of the road and the blue outer edge is the drainage ditch. Across her shoulders depicts highway 101 the Redwood Highway. The lower case “h”; written backward, is for the horse riding business at the start of Bald Hills Road. The upper case “G” reversed; is for the closed road on the other side further along Bald Hills Road. Roman numeral, I, II, III, and the VI upside down are for no parking, speed limit, and other signs. Between the upside down “V” and “X” were the dragon’s body touches the outer edge of the road marks the entrance to Lady Bird Johnson Grove parking lot.

To get to the casque:
Starting at the False Klamath you take the Redwood Highway; Route 101, south (“Running south”)
2 miles north of Orick, California turn left (“then across”) onto Bald Hills Road after 2.7 miles turn right into the Lady Bird Johnson Grove parking lot.
Exit the parking lot; on foot, turning left onto Bald Hills Road, walk (“Giant step”) down the street till you reach the footbridge (“Giant pole”) going over Bald Hills Road.
Just before the bridge is above your head is where the casque is buried.
Since verses and the image of the bird, are reversed and the direction we have moved thought out was south; I believe the casque location is on the south side of the road, not the north side as shown in the image.

On Aug. 27, 1969, then California Gov. Ronald Reagan, Lady Bird Johnson, President Richard Nixon, former President Lyndon B. Johnson & Rev. Billy Graham were at the Redwood National Park and State Parks for the dedication of Lady Bird Johnson Tall Tree Grove.
I want to share the history Preiss hid in his clues. I have All the NYC verses, images, and the location deciphered but my form from the book was returned as undeliverable. NYC Parks and Josh Gates could care less as well.Help Cheech
The reason the casque are not found is because very one is using the same miss information from WIKI!

Come on; Image 6 Florida! With the low right having the tree that is on South Carolina’s state flag and the stone the exact shape as the state. I have had the book a month and in 35 years I am the only one to see this?

Wiki has great pictures but the rest of it is worthless. The wiki site was set up and run by someone in the UK who did not read the book, knew nothing of American geography, American History or the people that made America.
The first step everyone got wrong and are still getting wrong is “the story in the book was not important”.

It was not intended for the image or the verse to give you the locations. Byron Priess tells you in the book where the Fairies went in the New Found Land; with one except the hardest one; image 2. You are given two items when but together let you know you are correct; image 1: Cathay and peach of immortality

Each of the 12 puzzles is pointing to an important person, or historical event or social changes that had a major impact on America. Byron Priess want to teach with this book. Clearly, no one got it and in the end; he gave up the thought that any of casques would be found.
Image 1 is about LBJ and Lady Bird, Raegan, and the Klamath Tribe.
Also, this digging up half a park is the high of insanity. If you have done it correctly the location less than a few square feet.
