I was in a Duschene County back in the early 90s. I met an old Ute man who was rambling on about mines the Spaniards stashed gold in then put arsenic all over to kill anyone who went in after. He said when he was a child his friend told him excitedly that he had found some Spanish conquistador armor in a cave he had discovered, a few days later his friend died from suspected poisoning. He said all the parents forbid their kids to go explore after this happened.
First of all the Mormon gold came from California, the Spanish never found any gold in North America if they had they would not have sold us California, New Mexico, Arizona, and everything else. Duh! In 1848 soldiers from the Mormon Battalion who fought in the Spanish-American War were discharged in San Francisco, they learned that a man named John Sutter needed help building a saw mill on the American river near Sacramento. These folks just happened to be in the right place at the right time, shortly after their arrival James Marshall discovered gold while building the mill. The Mormons walked down the river to a bend and discovered a sand bar on the far side that was 90% gold and they packed it up and went to Salt Lake City, where Brigham Young promptly turned it into Mormon Gold dollars and such. Then in 1849 Mormons went back to California and settled in Mariposa County at a place appropriately called Mormon Bar and mined gold until the early 1850’s.
This is real its where I had solomons gold put for Jesus upon his return. He will choose to destroy it by making it radioactive dump in Mariano trench or through at people’s heads… 😁Allegedly

Its true, it would more than pay off the national debt, but I am going to spend it all on hookers and beer. while watching this ..my cat …did a super high jump on side of a table..his claw went into the wire cage -birds. That birds come –to feed..O M G ..he grab a bird .. but after pulling down to ground -luck it got away … I don`t feel like petting him .. I un did his napping spot ..And feel I do not ever want another cat..Kitten are a blast to play with .. Puppies ..cry a lot , but dogs can be loyal / ? My Ute Indian friend knows where the mine is but he won’t go in there because it is guarded today as it was back then. He said they would shoot to kill to protect the mine.

I read all about this "lost mine". The Rancher that originally was shown the mine by a Ute Indian. Would supposedly go and take gold out when the Mormon Church needed money. Before he died he showed his son Caleb where the mine was. His son supposedly did the same a couple times. Yet, even knowing where it was. The son spent all his time, until his death. Searching for other prospective gold mines in the area? If he actually knew where this lost mine was. Why prospect for other possible mine sites? This lost mine has a couple different names. Lost Rhoads Mine, and the Lost Happy Jack Mine.
If the indians were so rich with gold , they wouldn’t live in shacks in the desert.
