In this small series I am in Colorado with Edwin and visit abandoned mine related facilities.
I visit the infamous ghost town Gilman, which closed in 1984 by the order of the Enviromental Protection Agency because of toxic pollutants. Since then it’s a forbidden ghost town.

Hi, Al. This video is about an abandoned me in Colorado USA Please show it to people who will like it. Thank you.
USA is so nice. everything is there.
10:29 (I wouldn’t be under there after an earthquake, even a minor one.). Jk. Awesome video, guys. ,👍
so scary! thanks for sharing your adventure!
Thank you for your brilliant video. First time viewer and big fan of Western mining history. Looking forward to future adventures, thank you and be safe. Maybe wear helmets?
Drove through there 6-1-22 this summer. Signs everywhere no trespassing, danger, no parking anywhere along all roads. Lots of new fences everywhere alongside the road. You guys must have had to walk 15 miles or more to park somewhere. 🤔
I grew up there for a while as a child My stepfather worked in the mine his parents worked in the mine I went to a one-room schoolhouse there as a child we would walk down to the river and across the tracks to the other side and walk up the mountain to the most beautiful ponds you ever saw.
Did you get permission to be in Gilman? I’d you Did how did you get it? I’ve been trying for years. My Grandad, Dad Father in law etc etc all worked there.
Probably thousands in scrap metal there.
Pretty incredible. Your lucky no bears mountain lions or wolves. Place is home to them. No hobos either. Wow those stairs
What’s the drone your using great resolution crystal clear looks like 4k it’s that nice
I’m 73 and can only imagine how much more beautiful Heaven will be I think Colorado is just a glimpse of God’s beauty. WOW!

Eric Howard Silverstein held auctions selling stolen human embryos attended by elders of Mormon church and many high ranking Colorado officials including Jared polis
Many have got rich by going through old waste heaps. Very common in the 1990s
Ya I’m here to pump you up. Hasta la vista, baby
Great video, detailed explanation is good, it’s a place I want to go
I remember the last train I saw on that line was in 1996. It was an autorack. But that was also on a summer vacation. According to some reports, that rail line, the Tennessee Pass Line, may be reactivated as soon as 2025.
They cleaned out the tranformers. The oil inside contained PCB’s. Cancer causing. If someone could just salvage the scrap metal they could make a good living.
bear eats tourist
Im loving these stories in the comments from those that were miners and their families
I liked the video
His name is "Robert Paulson"!
This place is off limits to the public.. How’d you get in? Illegally? On video? Lol Go to jail. Go directly to jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.
3:20 the railroad tracks were abandoned in 1997, immediately after a derailment and spill of sulfuric acid across the highway
I had a friend get nailed with it on his way to work that morning, ruined his car
I heard that’s was a car accident from up top and that it landed down
Lads, be careful. At 13:51 you walked through a whole pile of asbestos that fell out of the insulation on those steam pipes. That’s what all that white stuff on the ground and the pipes was. And for anybody watching, these old abandoned buildings are super cool, but remember that going in might actually be bad for your health and that it was abandoned for a reason. I’m not saying nobody ever should, just know what you’re getting into and how to protect yourself.
Artificial voice over, no thanks! Gone! Next!!
Should add Victor Colorado to your list.. while not a ghost town as there is actually a still producing gold mine there .. there are many remnants of old mines as well.. also seeing a gold mine in action is pretty neat too
This is my favorite video out of all videos. Awesome place guys. A+. You guys rock.
This was the first video I ever found of Techno, after that I was a huge fan. During covid I watched a lot of his stuff and it helped me through so much that I can even put it in words. Thank you Techno for so much, were all going to miss you 😮
Clearly you have never met the population of St Elmo.
look at allll that cash…
💩
Fun Fact: The actual land of Gilman, CO is currently owned by Viacom and they’ve actually expressed some interest in redeveloping part of the town as a ski resort.
Not the smartest thing to do, poking around old mines and buildings. Tons of people have been killed in Colorado doing so. Cool to check out old sights and explore, dumb to take risks in places no one can find you. In the 1980s the Colorado School of Mines and the state of Colorado sealed more than 350 abandoned mines..miles… to protect dummies
You said the mine shaft full of equipment, was in another video you’ve posted. Can you give me that link? Thank you
At 20:19 that stuff you’re holding is called leaveitrite. Leave it right where you found it cause it ain’t worth anything.
Cool
You should’ve checked out the caves just out side of Golden co I don’t think they’ve all been explored and with cave-ins open up new tunnels I’ve never went in and came out the same way you were under Neath Clear Creek at times
I would like to pack in and camp and fish.
Please do your research about why it was abandoned!!! The ground and water underneath was unstable so everyone had to leave. The mine tunnels were built under the town.
If you still have those "Nuggets" the best way to test to see if they are gold, is to take a hammer and try to flatten them out, if they grumble, they are not gold.
First impresion, not to favourable. After giving it a second chance, really very interesting.
All of Colorado is toxic! Including the people!
Living in Colorado, I’ll never be able to get over the environment. Such a beautiful place. Going into that mine made me claustrophobic! And I’m sitting on my couch with a fan on me.
Raymond Archuleta RIP my brother inlay knew him, went to school with him.
Yo. Bob and PIC (partner in crime:)
Yes it’s better you have met up again. I don’t know how good it is for a person to spend as much time a person does watching good exploring instead of doing it. Bob you do it to the maximums. It’s Ok.
Looking toward to Hungarian episodes. From Craig. UK.
What did it profit man.
I like videos like this. I live in Colorado, and have explored a few places like this. It’s disgraceful that all the graffiti has tarnished historical areas.. I can see why our government has gone to great lengths to make many of these sites off limits, because of the environmental concern and obvious vandalism that is bound to occur
The crosses are left their from when people die in auto wrecks. As for the stripping of the stuff left behind that is done mostly by theives. If a place is left alone for very long theives roll in and take what ever sellable stuff they can get. As for the gold it might be fools gold or that would not have been their either. I love these kinda videos but so do crooks. Yall find these awesome places and show the world and the theives see a gold mine. Their the ones who give yall a bad wrap.
