I frequent that area a lot but I hate going by myself

  2. Dana Johnson on December 3, 2021 at 4:12 pm

I’ll bet there are a log of Baofeng radios at the bottom of those mines.

  3. Les Baker on December 3, 2021 at 4:16 pm

Whole ‘nother world of radio out there Woody… Network Radios…. shhhh. Zello…. cross-link with GMRS. Shhhhh….

  4. Tony Iwamoto on December 3, 2021 at 4:16 pm

It was great meeting you. I am the one with Toyota 4Runner. Your youtube videos are very helpful on deciding my next trail run… Thank you so much.

  5. desert07576 on December 3, 2021 at 4:17 pm

I remember saying that for the months leading up to them finding her that she was probably in the bottom one of those mines. Feel bad for the husband! Finding out your wife’s cheating on you pregnant with another man’s baby and she’s dead.

  6. Dokdirt on December 3, 2021 at 4:19 pm

This was a little boring. Should make it more exciting with some gorilla glue.

  7. Locoandchooch on December 3, 2021 at 4:22 pm

I’ve been in one of those mines. Not sure which one. If you aren’t familiar, don’t do it. Every little sound is scary.

  8. Erik Flores on December 3, 2021 at 4:27 pm

How can we get in contact with you? We were just at Old Dale Rd Trail today. But would like to go exploring with you guys and learn other about trails. Good video! 👍

  9. RK Endsley on December 3, 2021 at 4:30 pm

Are you still doing "public" events or only "private invites"?

  10. christina delacruz on December 3, 2021 at 4:31 pm

    This looks fun 😎👍🏼

  11. Concerned Patriot on December 3, 2021 at 4:34 pm

Please do something with GMRS on your videos but don’t be a ham about it ! 👍

  12. Al Maurine on December 3, 2021 at 4:36 pm

Nice trip! Appreciate the views and info. How about ‘not even a jeep’ I have a built 2001 Ford Explorer 2Dr that I wander the desert in .. have a bed built inside so I camp wherever. Want a cool mine to check out? Try the Queen of Sheba mine in Death Valley. For some reason none of the adits are sealed like the others in DV .. unfortunately I have gone alone and I will only go so far into a mine by myself .. also a great camping spot .. for some reason nobody seems to go up there. No animal tracks or scat .. adits are clean of rodents too.

You’ll need the schnozzalator 5000 for this vertical shafts.

  14. Hal on December 3, 2021 at 4:37 pm

Gold, silver and copper were mine there

  15. tredubstudios on December 3, 2021 at 4:37 pm

Thanks for sharing your experiences & info. I’ve been down due to back issues a few weeks now. Your channel has been a real blessing & a great distraction while not being able to work on my own rig or get on the trails myself. I appreciate the time & effort you invest in your production. Most importantly, thanks for not being a dickhead!

  16. MindFull Soulutions on December 3, 2021 at 4:40 pm

Will my jeep make it? 2020 Not a Rubicon Gladiator, 2 5 Mopar lift, 35 inch tires , wife driveing..

  17. Bing Bruce on December 3, 2021 at 4:42 pm

The Brooklyn mine is one of my favorite places to go. Lots to see out there. We always leave food and water at the outpost near the New York mine. Yes, wind sucks.

  18. Incognito Burrito on December 3, 2021 at 4:42 pm

Just wanna know what sentence that bf got and would my vehicle make it?

  19. C Mac on December 3, 2021 at 4:43 pm

Hay there , how you doing ? those shafts that go strate up and down , are more likely air shafts .many like that in the high desert in Calif. also.

  20. E Spizz on December 3, 2021 at 4:43 pm

Dang you got a little spicy since I last watched some of your vids!! I like it!

  21. Adam Hartley on December 3, 2021 at 4:43 pm

Great trails, one of my favorite places to be. I have a lifted suburban z71. I have pulled lots of people out of there. You can do it in a car if you don’t care about it and don’t mind stacking rocks for hours. We did just for shits and giggles. But not recommended unless you have a back up 5×4 to get you out. No Randy it was the 2nd shaft inside the mine that the dog went down. Bad day. Thanks for the video man always appreciated. Stay safe and happy trails.

  22. Ward Perozuk on December 3, 2021 at 4:44 pm

  24. Dan K on December 3, 2021 at 4:45 pm

Cool place. I’d like to take a few of my employees there. You know, find the mine shaft hole in the dark. Just kidding HR. I kid.

Crossroads Cafe is a nice place to stop when you are in the 29 Palms area.

  27. Jason Yohn on December 3, 2021 at 4:47 pm

  31. John McCaffery on December 3, 2021 at 4:50 pm

    Great stuff.

  32. jesseplz on December 3, 2021 at 4:53 pm

These stories and other dummies lead to these mines being barred off or cages over by the feds, wonder why it hasn’t happened yet.

  33. Brian Hahn on December 3, 2021 at 4:53 pm

I recently subscribed to your channel. Thanks for posting. You wouldn’t happen to be a red shirt would you? Keep up the good work, I plan on hitting some of these trails soon.

  34. Boaty McBollock on December 3, 2021 at 4:54 pm

    My Rottweiler can fly.
He has got an anti gravity device implanted in his nut sack.

  35. Mtn Duck on December 3, 2021 at 4:54 pm

I want to test out the "If you have 2 wheel drive, you definitely won’t make it" theory. (as long as there’s a 4x or two to pull me out when the trail proves you were right! Lol
Always looking forward to the next video!

  36. anchor on December 3, 2021 at 4:54 pm

While I appreciate this mine adventure video, I came to this channel for the off road adventures, vehicle information, etc. . But you got me going now… I want to see more GMRS vids (lots more, in fact do vids on it all the time) and stuff about how HAM radio sucks.

  37. Ryan Beatty on December 3, 2021 at 4:55 pm

I I am loving these videos… Long story short I gotta split. Dude you make me feel the same way 2 other people make me feel. Bill Burr & Doug Stanhope. 2 of my favorite people on earth. You’ve got mad skills at being slick with your wit and the subliminal kicks to the balls of the dickheads” … I discovered you because I was checking out those radios and your funny ass popped up. I don’t think normal people pick up on the genius accidentally spewing forth on purpose without knowing I know that they know that I know that they know that I know … anyway it’s funny how some dude from Baton Rouge Louisiana can meet his soul mate through a friggin VIDEO ABOUT FREQUENCY?!? Are you picking up on the weight of this synchronicity taking place? Shit. I was scanning the internet and BLAM. I gotta split . I will find you and I will laugh. More. Later

  38. TomitaroO on December 3, 2021 at 4:55 pm

@4:10 made me lmfao 🤣 Love this dude!

  39. jesseplz on December 3, 2021 at 4:58 pm

    No more mr nice guy!

  40. kwpp7 on December 3, 2021 at 4:58 pm

Just did this trek today. Super bummed that I actually didn’t find the mine you can walk through (didn’t find your video till after I got home). I’m actually really surprised they left the Rosa Peru mine open after that incident and didn’t close it off.

  41. All-Terrain Family on December 3, 2021 at 4:59 pm

Crazy that stuff is so accessible there. Here in NV you drive for hours in the middle of nowhere and all the holes are fenced off. You have to fo early and cut them down to push anyone in. Very inconvenient.

  42. Road Tripping Frank on December 3, 2021 at 5:00 pm

LOL, will my 2017 JK Rubicon hardrock edition with 35’s amd a 2.5 lift make it ????? LOL just kidding

  43. John Daut on December 3, 2021 at 5:02 pm

  45. Trevin on December 3, 2021 at 5:04 pm

    1) You Sir need to be the gold standard template on how to address YT trolls and dumbasses.. 2) keep making these GREAT vids!

  46. Rare Earth Fab on December 3, 2021 at 5:05 pm

Best morbid story ever, that contains a mine shaft!

  47. Allhisranch on December 3, 2021 at 5:07 pm

    And the wind is ripping!!!!

  48. Trail Boss Mafia on December 3, 2021 at 5:08 pm

29 Palms is not the best place in the winter but I have to give that place credit for teaching me how to camp out in the shittiest conditions. Was stationed there from 2008-12 and did countless field ops.

  49. D Sherwood Cook on December 3, 2021 at 5:08 pm

    Very cool!!! Love the mines!!!!!

  50. Raph X on December 3, 2021 at 5:08 pm

I watched the video 3 times, now I’ll know I can make it through the trail
