What happens when there’s no more sand to mine? Do you fill in the hole or just leave a "man-made lake"? I have seen some areas that have been mined-out and left to look like Hiroshima. Not good. It’s basically transformed into unusable (and unsightly) land.
This is Permian Frac Sand facility in Voca. They just shut down actually. We closed our plant there too unfortunately. Cool video, but I wish I could have hooked you up at our place in Voca before it was closed. I think there was a bit more to see. If you want to do another video with a much larger, but different type of sand mine let me know. I’d love to use it for marketing.
