Your quest was wonderful and educational too, thanks!
I appreciate you so much!! I Loved Loved Loved learning several new things today! Quest On!!

Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
wood stone or wood fossil
That’s the LIFE, thanks for sharing!! So peaceful!
Is that by the coast or the Putah Creek?
Breathtakingly beautiful shots and great info, since I still have trouble identifying rocks. So true, it is good to be alive!
Hope youโre managing ok thru this tough time. Weโre all pulling for you!โค๏ธ
This video was helpful to me. I rock hound in southern WV, and most of what i find is bluish- gray glossy types of ( what i think is ) chert. I’m just beginning to learn how to identify it with more accuracy. Thank you Nate for taking some time to explain the origins of the details! You are much appreciated!
That was so interesting and informative, Thanks Nate for another trip on, a Quest for details๐
You are the Bob Ross of Rockhounding. You brought me some much needed peace. Thanks Nate!
Great explanation of how the rocks are defined.
I wish you well my friend!
Thank you for taking the time to show us all of these beautiful things.
One of my favorite times to be outdoors…… right before the inclement weather or right after.
Love the beauty of everything you showed us.now I’m going to send you my address and expect delivery of that’s gorgeous huge blue and green ribbon chert next week. Thanks Nate for taking us on your journey.
Thank you much for your videos and the time you take out of your day to share them with us.
As much as I love what you are looking for (rocks and minerals), I truly appreciate the fact that you stop and look up from the ground to take in nature in all its glory. I find myself doing that often. When I am on a beach I find myself just watching the waves and the way the sun plays on the water.
Chalcedony has lines much like the clear white in those layers on the beach. Which is agate. Isn’t it all silica just formed under different conditions?
That "ooze" as you call it, is also called "marine snow".
Whew, needed that! All the pretty colors and some knowledge to go with it. Thank you for making my day. Sending lots of love and prayers to you and your awesome family. ๐๐๐๐๐
Thank you for the rainbows, the lesson and sharing the beauty around you. Also thank you for the reminder. Itโs good to be alive.๐ค
The yellow orangey agatized piece is right up KatyDid’s alley. She would love it!
Thanks for another awesome and educational video
Talk about blessed, just enough rain that you don’t need a squirt bottle. Love the stones with possibilities of beautiful cuts.
Actually you are very generous about your locations. Some people wonโt even say what state they are in!
I enjoyed it thoroughly!
Stayed at home during evacuations been watching lots of ur vids help ing me sane during these fires that merged thanks
The original Green River. That portal stone is totally cool! Amazing finds, love the agate, jasper, and those swirly stones. My thoughts are with you, your family, and your home. The last scene is downright breathtaking and inspirational!
Thank you loved it I like when you explained things
Nice geology lesson on ribbon chert. Thanks
Praying for you and your family!! Just unbelievable how bad the fires are there. thank you for some Rock Zen moments It is appreciated very much!! Sending lots of love Quest Family!!
Thanks
You had me confused with your pronunciation if "siliceous", lol.
I kept hearing "salacious". While I get excited about rocks, I don’t get turned on by them in THAT way.
Similar sounding, but completely different definitions.
Anyway, now when I hear you pronounce it, I will know which definition you mean, even though you say the other word.
๐
This was great. I love learning new things. And what a beautiful day — a little bit of rain, a little bit of sun, and two rainbows! Thanks for sharing!
Just love ya & what you do, so much! Thanks for taking us with you, to the all the
cool places we wouldn’t otherwise get to know!
I was wondering why your air was so clean. I live in sw idaho and our air is horrible!
Love your channel, thank you for the Quest.
Loved all the places you went today. They were just beautiful. I appreciate the geology lesson. I need all the help I can get. Thanks! Can’t wait for the next one. Be safe and stay healthy๐ทโ
