Revenge Gold Mine – Inyo Mountains California

Revenge Gold Mine – Inyo Mountains California

Here we explore the abandoned Revenge Mine in the Inyo Mountains of California. It is a gold mine that dates back to the early 1900’s and includes a small arrastra nearby. There were a couple of collapsed portals, but, we did find one that was open that led to some interesting workings.

That’s a nice little Jeep you guys have what year is it and what power train dose it have in it. I like it because it’s simple and not all jacked up and show room looking very Practical off-road vehicle

Neat timbering in there, too bad it couldn’t all stay intact. Nice job!

That arrastra was cool. Those are rare. That was a good find! Interesting tunnels. That one was pretty long! The cat graffiti was a nice detail. Liked the shots of the Jeep coming and going. Another great video, Tom!

Extreme caution should be taken with the mines in that area… Remember the Ridgecrest earthquake epicenter was less than 40 miles from that location of this mine. A lot of mines in the area have collapsed and are going to further collapse. I know people that explore these mines professionally for the state and BLM… They have been avoiding the area because of how unstable all the mines are in the Inyo range.

Oh s#!t?? Did you just pull a cliffhanger on us? Or is the end of this video just rhetorical? Hahaha as always thanks for sharing!

You were smart to keep the exploration of this mine short. These collapses look very fragile. Cliffhanger?!?! How did you get out. It looks like you were dug in pretty good.
