Quick Walking Tour of Desert Valley Auto Parts (DVAP) – Phoenix, AZ 2-17-2018

This auto parts junkyard specializes in 1960s & later vehicles and was featured in the 2011 Discovery Channel TV series “Desert Car Kings.” Today it remains in business as a great place to find treasures for an affordable $2 entry fee. My friend Dane and I visited to check it out on a Saturday morning and had the place to ourselves.

Update: I visited DVAP again. Here is the video from September 2019. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4zuM29KT6I

"Make criminals inventory everything there" and a judge would call cruel and unusual punishment. Really odd that it is not gone and people clambering over how to shut it down. Thank god metal isn’t worth that much

Only thing good in an old chrysler is the motor, like a 413. I may go get one.
