The Queen Mine is located 1 1/2 hours from Tucson Arizona and 11 miles from the Mexican border. This is probably one of the best mine tours you could take in the U.S. It’s such an awesome hour tour because of the fact you take a mine train through the mine and go on tour with a miner who used to work in this mine for many years. They even dress all the people on the tours like miners as well to which makes it feel authentic. In this 5 minute video, I show you all the highlights of this amazing tour that’s a must-see if you’re ever in Southern Arizona.

Your tour guide sounded quite a character, really impressed with the quality of your filming in such difficult lighting conditions Eric. It must have been nice to ride on that train and give your legs a rest😉 Atb Anthony

Your tour guide sounded like he was a great character that had a lot of first hand stories to tell. Cool tour using the train cars. It looked like a lot of fun. Well done bud.
11 miles from the border. That’s probably not the only tunnel in that area. Pretty cool stuff. Can’t imagine working in a place like that day after day. Hazard pay couldn’t be enough. Tour guide was the salt of the earth.

How freaking cool is that?!? Just the ride in is amazing. Love those old mining guys. That’s the best part of the gold mine tours around here. Thanks for sharing brother.
Now that was really cool, Eric! Neat single-file train that took you in. Fascinating history from a good tour guide – experienced in the mine. Would enjoy this, thanks for sharing!
that was one cool tour, loved the little train they used plus able to stop and get off to see more of the mine, well worth the $13 to get and I see from your link it’s about an 1 hour to tour

Awesome mine tour Eric! I remember you mentioned how much you loved it. You can’t beat having a tour guide who worked as a miner there. Very interesting and sound like a had quite a lot of humor!
As you know, I have done mine tours before, but none that involved me to take a cart into the mine! That’s an awesome feature. Seemed like a lot of really good information and the it makes a big difference with the good stories!
A real mega tour and I love the train down the mine, real cool way to see everything. Nice to have an ex miner to act as a tour guide, cheers Alan
