Phoenix the king of Copper mines !

Phoenix the king of Copper mines !

Phoenix was a town of 2,000 until 1920 when it was abandoned. It was a complex of mines connected by 47 miles of tunnels. We have spent years exploring what remains of the underground workings. This is a video of all the highlight of this amazing location.
This is a fast paced and exciting Mine Exploration Channel. We have been in hundreds of abandoned mines in Canada, United States and Mexico. Recently we have purchased our own abandoned mine the Yankee Boy Mine! We are rehabilitating the mine so the public can explore an abandoned mine for themselves safely. Join us underground and we will show you things no human has seen for decades! A fast paced, exciting channel that will not bore you. Visit our website exploringabandonedmines.com for directions, exciting pictures and merch.

We have recently purchased a mine called the Yankee Boy in Grand Forks BC, We are restoring the mine so we can take people for a tour of an underground mine . It will be open in the spring of 2023. For more information on the history of the Yankee Boy Mine go to https://minfile.gov.bc.ca/summary.aspx?minfilno=082ESE189

Mines are being filled in, demolished, and/or collapsing at an alarming rate, so it is crucial to document them and save these artifacts while it is still possible.

This is all about mining and mining exploration. Join us for our weekly adventures as we go deep underground into historic abandoned hard rock Gold, Silver and Copper mines. We relive the Prospecting, Gold Rush days, going back in history with every expedition. Visiting abandoned and forgotten places, climbing down mine shafts into dangerous mines, finding treasures, seeing antique heavy equipment such as ore carts, crushers, milling machines, ball mills, explosives and other mining equipment.

We have a new website site exploringabandonedmines.com once there you can see how the mine is doing, support the channel and buy merch, we have stickers, hats, hoodies, t shirts and mugs. New items being added.

Why don’t you send a drone down there or a 360 camera on a string to see if it’s open or not at the bottom to save you the journey ?

Thanks for the tour, amazing. So this took quite a while to put together, the magic of editing. So there was some tight spots and dangerous situations. That is using the noodle. by the way, good luck with your museum.

Still remember the original video’s. You treading over rotten timber and me wondering if they would hold the weight of your massive balls of steel. πŸ™‚

Great Share! I worked in Carey Salt mine 650′ down for Underground Vaults & Storage, reminded me of snooping around closed off areas where ceilings fell & ground heaves where pillers sunk in, walking hunched over where tracks were . And remnants of the old miners, they’d carry water in Jars with wire hangers. Your climbing & squeezing though!
    Enjoyed watching your adventures
