Truly pretty amazing how many facts you can get wrong about the hunt in one video lol. There is no key to a safety deposit box inside. There is a CERAMIC key inside the CERAMIC casque (not cask) that you were to send in to Byron Preiss (pronounced Price, not Preess) who would then go to a bank in New York City where HIS safety deposit box is located and send you the gem associated with the image. He died in 2005, which makes receiving the gem a bit more open ended if you were to ever dig up a casque. So far no one has dug one up since his death, so we aren’t sure whether or not his family has access to the gems or not. The publishing company who purchased Byron’s estate is however honoring any found casques, but again, no one has found one since 2004, so we don’t really know exactly what that means. No one except Byron truly knew where he buried the casques. Especially his family or anyone associated with the making of this book. DO NOT attempt to contact any of them. They have no idea where he hid them and just want some privacy. As you can imagine, being relentlessly questioned about this for 36 years is a bit tiring.
