Aztec Empire came to an end at the hands of Conquistador Hernan Cortes but not before Emperor Montezuma, and his people, were able to sneak their mass amounts of wealth north to seven separate locations in what is now the American Southwest. For five centuries, thousands have searched for Montezuma’s treasure and the 7 Cities of Gold. The treasure is believed to be made up of an enormous quantity of gold bars, silver, precious stones, jewelry, and other Aztec artifacts. Historians estimate the value of all of these items to be worth over $3 billion dollars.

Lost Gold of the Aztecs follows three families determined to break the 500-year-old curse of Emperor Montezuma and find the treasure. The series will intercut each family’s epic adventure as they search for the 7 Cities of Gold on three different properties in three different states – the Dillmans in Utah, the Hoaglands in Nevada, and the Villescases in New Mexico. Who will be the first to find the Aztec Gold?

I have the exact location of one cave carved out of the canyon in Aztec territory but for some reason they keep it’s been sealed that tells me that somebody hates something in there in about 5 miles to the south and there is a location where my grandfather found a buried structure and according to him there’s a treasure in there but it’s not just any treasure it’s a huge one .. I’m hoping the soon I’ll be able to go to Mexico to explore this cave

That’s a potato gun and anyone who knows what’s up would know that AQUANET hairspray is the only way to go. Those smoke bombs went nowhere. They could have thrown them further.

The Aztec treasure was thrown into the lake surrounding Tenochtitlan. The Spanish later build the city over the lake. The gold is somewhere under Mexico City. Uncovered over the years have been a few hordes of Aztec gold. On such item is a good bar and a plate of gold a Spanish soldier had fashioned under his chest armor. The gold was lost in the canals on The Dismal Night when the Spaniards and their native allies had to battle their way out of the city being attacked on all sides. One day a backhoe will uncover a huge horde. Montezuma’s cousin who became emperor told Cortez he threw the gold in the lake.
