About pitcher Austin Adams (54): A pitcher practices his craft every day and having a good command of his accuracy is essential. He has hit 15 batters this season and this only July. What the heck is wrong with the guy? The batter he hit in the head in this game was lucky to escape with his life. And, the umpires allowed Adams to stay in the game. Unbelievable!
The Padres need to look elsewhere and release Adams from his contract.
The Padres crushed the team with the 25th best record in baseball, the Miami Marlins, 3-2 today as they continue their march to The World Series. My guess is that they will have to purchase their own tickets to actually see it in person, but hope springs eternal. Go Padres!
They should have LEFT SNELL IN! Adams comes in and fu-ks it up and almost kills a guy.

When Adam’s slider his it’s location, it’s pretty nasty and usually results in a strike out or pop-fly… I’ve seen him hit batters though but never like that. ๐ฌ I hope he’s ok.

The Marlins either give up a one run lead or lose by one run cause they can’t score. Again rlly competitive but missing key plays otherwise they could by over .500. Pitching is top 5 in the league I think, even when they pitch a reliever game but the offense is boom or bust
Good to see Blake Snell back in good health after that bug scare. Nice save from Mark Melancon, his 29th and league leader. I hear fans from all over the country wanting to watch the Padres play no matter who they are playing because they are the most entertaining and got the most swag and they got Fernando Tatis Jnr! ๐

Hope Berti is okay! Also, they didn’t leave Snell in because he’s still recovering his stamina from his stomach issues a little while ago. His velocity has been down ever since but he’s performing better and I’ll take any pitcher with good stuff and location over velo.
Release Adams. He straight stunk it up when he got in the game.
