Thank you so much. I really want to go to the Pala Mine since I’m in Carlsbad. It’s not far from me. I’m stoked you just pumped me up with your informative video, to go find some tourmaline! Thank you 🌞

I’d love to take my wife who is into Gemz at the moment and my two children but trying to decide between gems of Pala and Oceanview mine which one do you recommend?

$8950.00 for that first pink in the case! Wholly Molly! I use to buy tourmalines from the Himalaya and Tourmaline Queen mines that size in the 90’s for a couple hundred bucks! Last one I bought from Bill Larsen around 94’ is a double terminated bi-color about 3/4” thick and about 2.5” inches long .. I paid $100.00 for it! My how times have changed. For an old collector this modern operation open to the public doesn’t look too appealing, but I bet the kids have a blast, and it’d be cool to explore some of the old underground workings of the past, but those buckets and bags they are selling look like a lot of Leverite to me 🙄
