GREAT day metal detecting the California Mother Lode! With my friend Dave from @Goldbay , Chase from @Bigfootminingco and all the rest of my new friends I made that day. We started detecting a small creek, and found some gold, but then moved up hill when the real fun happened as we pulled nugget after nugget out including some Huge Gold Nuggets. And some amazing specimen gold.

Rather inefficient to use the big spools all the time. That’s why you usually have the pinpointer for, that you don’t need to go through all the lumps. Makes it like 3-4 times faster.
