Forrest Fenn filled a chest with gold and jewels and hid it somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. Then he wrote a poem of clues that could lead treasure hunters to find it if they could solve the puzzle. Whoever finds it gets to keep it!!! Depending on the current price of gold this treasure chest and its contents have been estimated to be worth between one and three million dollars. Here is a list of just some of what is inside the antique, bronze chest which alone is valued at $20,000: It contains over 20 troy POUNDS of gold in the form of nuggets and coins, a 17th century, Spanish ring with a large emerald, a bracelet with 254 rubies, six emeralds, two sapphires, a bunch of small diamonds, an historic bracelet with round, turquoise beads, and a 2,000-year-old necklace from Columbia. I will share his poem and other clues to the treasure’s location. See if you can solve the mystery and join us for our quest to New Mexico and Colorado in search of this chest full of genuine treasure.
You had similar problems I did. There is several solves in the Rockies to the poem but only one actual spot. I never found which word was the key to taking me to the correct spot.
I have been following this story by Fenn. This is awesome someone found it. When you were up there looking did you ever run into any bears or mountain lions?
You are a great story teller. I enjoy hearing about your adventures

Wow, 10 years before it was found, that’s pretty impressive!
