I love crystals especially for the reason that it is used for spiritual healing. Recently I had an itching thought that maybe we are over mining the crystals and not thinking so much about what it’ll do to mother earth because I see people posting online showing ridiculous amount of huge crystals being harvested and sold in outdoor markets. I really hope that is not the case. It only grows about two centimeter over a period of ten million years depending what type. With an increasing amount earthquakes going on recently over the years it affects the growth rate of crystals as well. We have to be mindful of how much we harvest. We should only take only what is needed. Sorry for being a party pooper but I think it makes sense to be moderate and not get overboard with harvesting mother earth’s minerals. Let’s show some love and respect to mother earth.

Love and light to all taking the time to read this with an open mind. Namaste 💜

I’ve been into gemology and geology since I was a kid and Australian black opals and ethiopian opals have always been my favourite gemstones. I really wish I could go to Australia and do some mining one day
