Nice! We have a beach called gem stone beach down in the south island of new zealand all sorts of stones get washed up every now and then.. usually after a storm lol makes me want to go and collect some stones 😄

Robert, Glad to see you branching out, experiencing new things, but promise yourself that you will go online and learn a bit more about gem stones, so you know what you’re looking at. A couple good channels on You Tube, to learn from are Me Miner, Liz Kreats and The Crystal Collector. One thing I know on the stones you had, is the clearer the better, like the small pink one. If you want to do an experiment, The MFU channel here on YT and a couple others tell you how to make your own opal. It would be a fun challenge between you and Alex. : )

Spent good time out there but not $75 good. We had a feeling that truck loads of pile been pre screened good. We haven’t even find $5 worth of anything. At least for that money you guys should of planted some buckets of Amethyst, quartz or no gem quality tourmaline crystals in that pile. They have almost no value but people would of be happy to find some. I rather spend that $75 on ebay and get some nice crystals. We never go back.
