Dr. Elaine Dorward King, Newmont’s Executive Vice President of Sustainability & External Relations, was hosted by the Colorado School of Mines’ Humanitarian Engineering program. Dorward-King talked to the students about the increasing role engineers will play in both corporate responsibility and sustainable development and how to apply their engineering skills to create sustainable solutions with and for communities.
