I have not found anywhere to rockhound pikes peak that isn’t private property. Where on pikes peak did you go? Or did you get permission to hound somewhere?

Wow amazing I came across your video, I’m from Colorado my little sister kids live in Colorado Springs I Ave watched a handful of Pikes peak videos with a variety of minerals and crystal types. My plan is to move to CoSprins got friends and family there I’m San Diego and alone very few friends so going home can’t wait to give it a try a the peak way cool video great job thanks for sharing the adventure, I probably be taken some little people with me and creating some memories for everyone tx again

I really didn’t know about amazonite until I watched this.its a very beautiful crystal.

That is some of the deepest blue feldspar ive ever seen next to the green Amazonite and blue-purple-grey moonstone feldspar ive found. Some of it has STRONG adularescense too, and ive never seen any moonstone with colors to it other than grey, brown, or peach online or in real life. I think I may have found some rare variant that there isnt a lot of, maybe there were things in the formation that allowed it to have such a strong effect and rare color. Ive also found some lavender/rose quartz hue stones that I think are also feldspars, but they have a 6 point star on two ends. Cant really tell exactly what it is because it all came out of a river, but ive pulled at least $2,000 worth of gems out of those river rocks
