Mine in Morenci, Arizona.
Towards the end of the video you’ll see the wild goats that were roaming the area and also see an old cemetery overgrown with prickly pear cactus.

The animals are Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep.  Morenci has one of the healthiest herds in the Southwest.  Arizona Game and Fish often remove animals to improve genetic diversity in other herds.  I have had these animals walk within six feet of me once I made it clear that I was working (they have learned that a cordless drill is a sign that a human is not interested in them).  Morenci is currently the largest open pit copper mine in North America, and the most productive.

I’m thinking those are desert bighorn sheep, not goats, in the video…they roam all over the place, even in town (Morenci and Clifton). I visit there very often, and am continually amazed at the massive size of those dump trucks – I even have a picture of my 10 year old daughter standing right next to one…her head doesn’t even come up to the hub in the middle of the tire!! They are huge!!!
