    They must have been hauling ass with those mules. It is 70 miles from Santa Fe to Taos.. then another 40 miles E. That is 110 miles in 2 days?

    Good job on this one. Barcello is called out in the New Mexico History Museum main exhibit – was up there a few weeks ago. Your rendition sounds a bit like it came from Arthur L. Campa, the New Mexican folklorist.
