The Book contains a number of fascinating stories about places in Colorado where you can search for lost treasures, a giant crystal, a forgotten mining camp, and a lost mine containing a vein of wire gold and silver among the stories.
I know where the lost spanish…..gold wire mine is, everyone is looking 50 miles away in the wrong are, Im going up there this summer and steak it, btw my ex father in law had samples 20 years ago essayed and was told there was at least 9oz per ton, same place where the ranch hand from the sand dune area found the cave during the blizzard early 1900’s and took two 50lbs bars, he could never find the mine because it collapsed that winter. I know where it is!
LOL!! At 2:30 you can see where this book claims the mine in question "lies in very rugged terrain, close to the top of the Continental Divide." Yet, it’s supposedly in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, which are a minimum of 100 miles east of the Continental Divide.
So much for having any credibility!
I have read this book–I thought it is well researched and gives many excellent treasure leads–this book can really help a prospector or treasure hunter.
