Aztec Empire came to an end at the hands of Conquistador Hernan Cortes but not before Emperor Montezuma, and his people, were able to sneak their mass amounts of wealth north to seven separate locations in what is now the American Southwest. For five centuries, thousands have searched for Montezuma’s treasure and the 7 Cities of Gold. The treasure is believed to be made up of an enormous quantity of gold bars, silver, precious stones, jewelry, and other Aztec artifacts. Historians estimate the value of all of these items to be worth over $3 billion dollars.
Lost Gold of the Aztecs follows three families determined to break the 500-year-old curse of Emperor Montezuma and find the treasure. The series will intercut each family’s epic adventure as they search for the 7 Cities of Gold on three different properties in three different states – the Dillmans in Utah, the Hoaglands in Nevada, and the Villescases in New Mexico. Who will be the first to find the Aztec Gold?

Safe Hunting to all!!
The mayans and the aztecs new the how ambicious the spaniars were so the real treasures were moved to jinas if you know what i meant
Ignorance for profit…
How did the Spaniards acquire the gold good old
Another oak island 😀
Well, they do say, that when the Mormon’s got to Utah, they suddenly gained wealth like lightning practically overnight.
Oh yeah, I see that familiar country and I almost drowned in one of those water caves when I was but a pup in the 50’s Robert Shrewsbury
These shows are all the same. Long drawn out searches for nothing! Over dramatized idiots searching for make believe treasure. If these guys got a job and worked half as hard they would see a better payday!
How did the conquistadors and Cortez acquire the gold
Waiting for the story. Not found
It was all hidden in Al Capone’s vault.
Swear I seen another video on this channel about a green dye appearing in different places and locals were confused and didn’t know what it was.
Its clickbait y’all… No gold was found… So the picture of the gold in the start of the photo is fake.
This show is fake af
Just the opening premise is misleading because Moctezuma died while in Spanish custody in Mexico City then Mexico-Tenochtitlan so how did he personally hide the treasure somewhere in the Southwest U.S.?
SECRET TUNNEL! SECRET TUNNEL! THROUGH THE MOUNTAIN!
Obviously it belongs to mexico is part of out culture on stolen land
How is this man searching for gold that never belong to him or his country
They injected a dye in a spring with no fluid flow, and expected to see the dye in an adjacent cave without getting diluted.
The only good thing about this they did not find no gold
The gold was found years ago by who ever owns them big black triangle ships
They should bring in Cortez he was good at finding stuff that didn’t belong to her and getting rid of a civilization
Ur grand farter was there with Montezuma huh?
The flair thing is nothing but a fire hazard. So unnecessary
Llo lo tengo ase 37 anos
Yep we almost found it. LOL
That gold belongs to the Spanish people.
Click bate
What hurts more is I am a big history and Discovery fan for them to put this junk might as well go to Fox News and Friends
History channel to do a special and how he got rid of a civilization
Success ! We polluted the water with this green dye !!!!
Why don’t you tell the real how many Aztecs had a die for this gold how far is er from Putin
It’s native American indigenous people lands and even them guys are so called mexican that look white . No man native American indigenous are true brown people. You can say much from a native man like myself. Stay out of the 4 corners
The flares make this show extra exciting 👍🏽
One thing is a fact they do not find any gold if they did it would be national news this TV show was filmed in least a year to 18 months ago one thing that is a disappointment for the History Channel Spaniards conquistadors were far civil and peaceful to the Aztec Indians
Looking for is a little different than finding. Should tell them.
What ever you do not let anyone you know if you do find it! Watch Finders Keepers Channel! Thought they were doing it the right legal way! FBI came in and stole their loot! I believe it was 9 tons of gold and not sure how much silver!!! STOLE IT!!!!
I hope the curse on montezuma’s gold is ereal
Sad the the government knows about this now.
If that’s the case, why didn’t grandpa pull the gold out himself?!
He wouldn’t have found it then left to make his grandkids go after it.
The conquistadors what can you say about them it came into a new land killed everybody and took their gold
History channel is completely click bait anymore!
This so-called self-proclaimed explore and his family from Spain has no problem and torturing and killing Aztecs or Mexicans because his grandfather was a great Explorer
Surely they would have hidden the gold local to Mexico, not hundreds of miles away
Typical to have a white men looking for my ancestors gold….
The gold was teleported to the dark side of the moon buried very shallow. A large black monolith was place over it. The monolith was disguised as a shadow so nobody could see it.
How many Aztec Indians died under Cortez while looking gold that belongs to Mexico
The Spanish never knew about any gold…they were lost at sea like another Christopher culonbus…
My low expectations make yet another futile treasure show palatable to watch.
