Looks like a good place to detect, I’d put another good day into and I’ll bet given the looks of the place, someone will pull out some nice old silver or a cool relic!!
GO BACK!!!!!!! Large rock (in my mind) would be placed on top of a cache. I would go dig it, especially since it’s that close to a mine
usually using the at pro and i get a 99 signal its always trash or iron 🙁

If I was to hide my gold and coin stash I’d bury it put a big rock on top and fill in the hole.
Go back. it a high number. I wouldn’t be able to help myself, I would have to dig it, even with a crowbar to pry the rock out. but it could be a pull tab
