    That’s really cool. I know of three other mines in Eureka that me and my friends have found. One of the portal entrances was gated off but I was skinny enough to squeeze through. Another one that we found is what we like to call Natures Fridge because of how cold it is. Its probably the biggest one we’ve found so far.

    Thanks for the video. Quick correction that you might find interesting. At min 2.00 you visit what you say is a shaft of the Humbug mine. It turns out that the shaft your looking at is Beck Number 2 Shaft.

    In 1975 I lived in the town of Mammoth with my Dad ,just west of Eureka and we used to explore all the old mines around town. Thanks for taking me back..

    The adit you went into is not the Humbug Mine. That is the adit level of the Beck Tunnel mine. The Humbug Mine is about 300′ up the mountain.
