he used 40 dollars in MAP gas to melt 30 dollars of silver. And it isnt assayed so no one will want it but for scrap. Nice waste of time and resources.. Come on bro,,,this is not helping Israel at all.

  17. Cal Stubbington on May 11, 2021 at 9:31 am

Smelting or melting silver is extremely hazardous,,,it usually always contains lead that will become deadly vapors!!!

  18. Zero Fox on May 11, 2021 at 9:34 am

Wasn’t that the silver bar you made from lead?

Hey Jeff, in all seriousness, before you started breaking the rock at 12 minutes did you look overhead to see if there any loose rocks that would fall?

  34. Jon C on May 11, 2021 at 9:54 am

How do you tell the difference from galena to just straight pyrite. The reason I’m asking is it looks like galena is more natural occurring than gold from were I’m located but it’s still not in a abundance so I’m just wondering if I had some lying around in the drive way

  35. ItsKeeton on May 11, 2021 at 9:54 am

They used a very similar gravity plane system in Birmingham Alabama for iron ore mining, in the late 1800’s.

  36. David Rank on May 11, 2021 at 9:55 am

Let get out there partner! Yahoo! Yip, yip. You betcha we were salvaging for ore that time.

That winch is about a 1925 Fairbanks Morse. It was run by a 6hp, 1 cylinder F-M motor. I have a working one at my mine. The motor alone weighs 800 lbs. The entire winch with motor is 2100 lbs. It was rated at one ton pull on a single cable.

  39. mike anderson on May 11, 2021 at 9:58 am

I was wondering if you had a video about all the different kinds of or of that contain silver. Or a better question would be. Can you describe all the different types of silver ore.

  46. Mindful World on May 11, 2021 at 10:05 am

Are galena deposits like that hard to find in NW Arizona?

  47. Jeff Liggins on May 11, 2021 at 10:05 am

I have some specimens that need to be checked for silver. I find lots of this stuff every time I go out. I’m almost certain its silver. I get it for out of stones and in funny shaped nuggets. It’s not heavy nor magnetic. But is black with white crumbly almost wet rock covering it. I wire wheeled the rock off and threw it in vinegar. When I took it out all the white rock was gone and the metal darkened. I put the wire wheel on it and man oh man! Silvery white shine bright!

  48. Peter Henden on May 11, 2021 at 10:05 am
