How to get to the Iron Door, Lake Havasu AZ

Iron Door mine, is located in Bison wash near Lake Havasu City, Az. In this video I will explain how to get to this location and things to see along the way.
To get to Iron Door you need to go to Bison wash and follow the wash back above Bison water fall. You will need a good off road vehicle to get to this mine.
Once you get to Bison water fall you will take the trail to the left, to get on top. Then you follow that wash straight back to get to the Iron door. Once you can not drive anymore, you will need to hike. There is a hiking trail on the right hand side once you climb the rock face. There is now a rock arrow pointing to the trail. You can also just hike straight up the wash. I would say its probably 1.5 to 2 mile hike to the mine. (I did not record distance) I would not recommend doing this hike when it is hot. There is no shade till you get inside the mine.
There is not much to see in the mine. There is some graffiti, bats, and calcite. The mine has some different tunnels to take. All the tunnels dead end. There is no way to get lost in this mine. The mine is tall enough to stand up in the whole time. It is also pretty long.
In the video there is some detours and other mines you can see on your way to the Iron Door.
Watch for the information on the detours.

I’m just saying I live here and that road to the left to the falls is way worse then it is in the video now and would use extreme precautions when doing it
