I heard that one legend says that the aztecs took back their treasure to aztlan into the Cave ofnthe sevem caves, if that its true then ima go to take a serious chance to look for it because that cave is not in the US is in a mexican town were was really the location of aztlan very few PEOPLE know that so may be i have a chance if the gold is not deep underground but if it is then i will may not count it

Music’s gotta go! LOL Its easily possible, mainly because it was written about at the time. Read the book: "A True History of the Conquest of New Spain" (or Historia Verdadera de la Conquista de la Nueva España [in Spanish]) by Bernal Diaz del Castillo. When Cortez (and Castillo) first entered Tenochtitlan in 1519, they described buildings sheathed in gold plate, and even the poorest of peasants wore lots of gold jewelry. After defeating the Aztecs in 1521, most of the gold described was not there. The Spanish stayed in Tenochtitlan six weeks torturing Cuaotemoc’s Warriors trying to find where the gold went. All they would do was point North. To the West were mountains (not easy to transport that much treasure). To the South were tribes that the Aztecs had raided many times for sacrifices (think Apocalypto) (couldn’t go that way), and Cortez was to the East gathering strength (couldn’t go that way either).
Naah, its just a far-fetched theory that needs way too much positive thinking to be true. Its like saying the farao’s of Egypt would have hidden their treasures somewhere in scandinavia.
