I too lose way more as white… 70/30 as black and exact opposite with 30/70 white. Never really thought about it till just now. That is weird. Guess I should work on my white repertoire

This is all fine and great, but I would prefer some educational content for 1500+ elo subscribers. I originally started following Gothamchess because of your high-quality tournament recaps that I found quite refreshingly original and educative. Nowadays, it’s just Chatgpt, Google AI, Frank, Guess the Elo, and other online fads that crop up from time to time. These are fun for a while but eventually get old, just saying.
I may like eating ice cream, may even do it every day, but I will never start eating it as a replacement for meat and potatoes.

60% win rate with either color is wild to me. No wonder the man is climbing so much, he’s winning a shit ton. If he closes the gap with white, he’ll be a force to be reckoned with. I remember at one point I decided I needed to do that with black because I had like a 44% rate with black and 57% win rate with white. Then I learned the KID set up from levys speedrun videos and closed the gap. and let me tell you, gaining like 10% win rate with either color will send your rating to the moon.
