Hikes near Denver, Colorado | Paint Mines, Chatfield State Park, and Roxborough State Park

We are showing you the best hikes that you can take near Denver, Colorado! These places have trails that are not too difficult to hike on, so they are perfect for all people! The first place is at Paint Mines Interpretive Park. This place was the most unique and the place that we were the most amazed at! The second place is at Chatfield State park, and is so fun when you want to get away from the typical Colorado scenery and enjoy the “beach.” The last place is at Roxborough State Park with huge rock formations that you can hike around. These rock formations were HUGE! Enjoy your hiking in Colorado!
We hope that you guys enjoy this video like we do!

Three fantastic areas that we have not visited on our trips to that area. The Paint Mines area has such beautiful rock formations. There are so many wonderful State parks to see. If you miss alligators that is an mental issue we need to discuss….LOL. That shirt at the end is the greatest.

Pro tip…please remain on the actual trail, not the edge of the trail, even if it is muddy. You can cause the trail to widen, which in. turn will cause erosion which in turn will cause plant life to be destroyed, which in turn……..
Just stay on the trails, to keep our city, state, and national parks beautiful. Other than that, great job!

  22. Wandering Hills on July 12, 2022 at 5:35 am

It does look a little bit like Roman Forum, yes. That pink rock though. As for visiting unexpected places, this life of restrictions we have really made us look around our own backyard and the places we have visited and discovered so far are amazing!
