The New Mexico Abandoned Mine Land Program (AML) presents Hidden Dangers: The Legacy of New Mexico’s Abandoned Mines, featuring abandoned mine history, safety and safeguarding. This film’s primary focus is on mine safety and safeguarding techniques, but a variety of topics including history, archaeology and biology provide a broader overview. Highlights include footage of actual hazards shot in underground mines, expert interviews, and animated scenarios of encounters with hazardous abandoned mine features.
