49 years ago, My youngest brother was killed in a Semi wreck ,by a druck / drugged semi driver.
He was only 2 days away from his 28th birthday.
My heart hurts for the Families that have loss Family, to such senselessness.
This is crazy this was my wreck. I was the driver of the red Chevy truck and wanted to thanks these people who showed first. I am thankful that God put y’all there that day I hope to one day be able to give back thanks and God bless…. Nick Crotts
Thank you for not recording like other by standards. Thank you for Atleast providing us with the audio along with the explanations on what is happening during all of this. Although you can’t see, it still gives insight on how horrible the outcome was. How you can hear the pain and fear and concern in others. It’s real. It’s raw emotion. It’s a lesson that can teach all of us. Thank you for helping them.
I live in east Tennessee and I was waiting on my daughter to get home and she was late and I heard sirens and when I get down her drive way there’s a fire truck and rescue squad and I asked was there a wreck and they said yeah I said a little gold Saturn he said he thought so, they was called off usually that is not good I blew the head gasket in my car when I saw the car on its side against a big tree. There’s no proof for those few seconds I thought I lost her. The police said who the fr you I say that is my baby, she is 22 now. Praise to jesus christ and the people who helped her. Some bruises and a cracked collarbone.
Our oldest daughter was hit head on in her lane of travel and killed by a drunk driver in Oklahoma . He lived and no charges were ever placed against him and he was free as a bird .( due to his status in the town .)
I’ll never forget the day I lost my BFF to a Drunk driver. We could all hear a really bad crash the night before- to find out the next day at school she had been killed. I’ll never forget you Nicole Lynn Murgerian. Forever in my ❤
Kudos to the people who helped and said to he’ll with the camera. I know it’s natural reaction but the hysterical family member only complicates the situation and stresses the injured. Always best if possible to remove them from the area and tend to the injured. As a first responder I’ve seen this play out far to many times. Usually the innocent ones are killed and the drunk walks away. All life is precious and has value. Prayers for his soul that he found peace in the here after

My daughter was in a car accident, which alcohol was involved. I do not believe she was driving but a victim of someone elses careless mistake and did not seat belt her in the car. She was at a house party, and was taken out of there. Someone else had to be driving her car. Her car rolled six times, she was thrown from the car, she was only 110 lbs, tumbled like a rag doll in a dryer. Her neck was broken and she died instantly. The people in the car, just up and left her in the swamp…alone. They fled the scene. I was told her bac was almost three times over the legal limit and they claimed she was driving. There is no way in Hell she was. I will never know the truth. These people have to live with themselves and the choices they made. JRB RIP 2013. My daughter always wore her seat belt and had never ever drank and drove before. Why would she that night?
I just had a discussion about drinking and driving on my Facebook page today. The assistant fire chief and coroner of my hometown was busted for drinking and driving a couple of days ago. There were a few people upset because of the comments about the man. They claim he made a mistake and is a good man. He may be a good man but his decision to drink and drive wasn’t a mistake it was a poor ass choice and carelessness. It got uglier and uglier from his defenders. I got angrier and angrier because they were defending him. I had to witness and comfort my best friend in her time of suffering. She was hit by a drunk driver. She suffered not from injuries to herself but her ten yr old daughter who was ripped from her seat belt in the backseat and ejected through the windshield onto the road way where she was ultimately killed by a car that was doing 65 mph on the highway the wreck occurred on. I get so damned angry when people do not stop and think about the lives they are going to destroy when they make the choice to get behind the wheel after drinking. Whether they kill anyone or not they should serve a good amount of time in the pokey. Give them enough time in that cell where they don’t have the freedom to be able to keep themselves busy to take their mind off of the misery they have caused. Let them sit there and think for a good long time what kind of damage the could do or had actually done. Call a damned DD, call a loved one to come get you. Call a frigging taxi.
Know one would drink and drive if they knew they would lose there license for +10 years and could face up to +10 years in prison. Change the law and see how much changes. Why should you get a ticket and keep your license when you can possibly be ended people lives from stupidity?.. if everyone knew the consequences and they could face up to 10 years of suspended license and 10 years in prison, there would be a lot less deaths
I just went through a brutal T bone accident in my truck but lucky it was just me and not my wife and kids. People don’t pay attention and its sad. Glad you and the family are alright bro and I know money doesn’t help but hopefully you and the family got something. It is a horrifiying experience. God bless

I drink all the time and drive.. never in my life hit anyone,
