question. If you knew where the mine was, why would you brag to the world that you know where it is and the directions to it? Ill bet none of you know who crazy jake is? most of the maps out there where made by hustlers taking your money. the mine has been found in 1893 by four mormons. It became the mammoth mine and the Goldfield mining district. sorry folks no more gold.the recreated town was built by robert schoose, bob gillette, jerry gargalione, jay zingler, bob consanary, louis gargalione, and all the relatives of said men. Most of the original town was north of the water tower around the mine and the stamp mill. there was also a town called youngsberg that came after the mine flooded which is where the recreated town now sits.

The Peralta gold was stashed in Victorio Peak in what is now White Sands Missle Range and discovered by Doc Noss about 100 yrs later.

if you find gold or silver or any valuable metal or mineral,,if it gets out you really found something, you’ll be watched, without even clue, our national parks, most of them, have been sold to china for collateral on loans, they’re buying downtown new York city,so if you think for a minute youre safe 25 miles from anything you’re nuts, finding gold is fun, looking for it in this climate with world events taking place,i’ll wait, that golds been there for a 100 million years, its not going anywhere

It will never be found according too the stories the indians changed all the landmarks around too prevent the area from being destroyed & the mine was filled in with makeshift concrete but it is rumored too be real. There is a story of a famous imprisoned indian chief whom offered his prison guard a deal in exchange for his freedom, he offered too lead the guard too a place in the arizona mountains where a large gold cache could be found

Also the way ward Son who robbed his family members and was arrested in Concord,N.H. for assaulting a pregnant girlfriend by back fisting her as she was driving ,Wow What a Zero.. You are persona non gratto forever, Adieu Dad…

I can read those maps just looking at it on hear

  15. Steve Eady on June 5, 2020 at 6:43 pm

I thought that this area was off limits for searching for the mine. Didn’t the US government make this a national park or historic site which prevents you from claiming the treasure. If you find it the government takes it.

Was fortunate to have gotten to know Ron over the past 15 years here in Arizona. A very good man, and extremely interesting to chat with. We will miss him. I believe the family took him back east for burial…couldn’t find much locally. Anyway, Ron Rousseau (Eagle de Andre) was fascinating and entertaining.

Racist Police force ! My two daughters got lost outside of superstition mountain and the apache junction police force laughed at us and told us to go look for our girls alone or call the F.B.I. because this was not their job and then the officer on duty asked me if I had my greencard and was I allowed to be in the country. STRAIGHT RACIST POLICE FORCE !

There are only 3 people who have outwardly proclaimed where the "Lost Dutchman Mine" is. In this thread you have been blessed with (John V. Kemm), who is on that list. He and the others know it is above the Salt.  You may find Something, and we hope you do, but it will not be the  LDM.
