Its a bunch of horse shit ! Over the years everybody adds to the story . Thomas Rhoads was the only person who knew where the mind was. It wasn’t the churches gold . The indians showed Thomas because of there friendship and trust. Caleb was just like everybody else he searched his whole life looking for the mine. my Grandpa Roy (Slim) Powell Searched Many years. He said,he believed it to be on the indian reservation. Thomas Donated the gold to the church .he never used it for self serving purposes. he died with the secret telling no one.
