Golden Rhoades – Lost Utah Treasure – Clip #1 of 10
“Golden Rhoades” – the Historical Hunt for the Legendary Lost Rhoades Mines. This film superbly documents the epic search and potential discovery of one of the largest hidden treasures in America. A secret cache believed by many to contain a wealth of gold and natural resources; it has been suggested that the mines may contain an abundance of riches that could cover the national debt. The Rhoades Mines’ protected location is believed (speculated) to have been provided to the Mormon church by the Ute Indians in order for the church to survive its difficult pioneering into Utah. The film delves into the myth, fact, and fiction surrounding an amazing tale of adventure, treasure maps, mysterious deaths, and intriguing characters. It provides details and clues to the mines that have eluded thousands of prospectors for over one hundred and fifty years. The film was shot (much in confidential locations) throughout the vast Ute Indian Territory and surrounding Utah Rocky Mountains. The Lost Rhoades Mines Found
My name is Jack Johnson I found the lost Rhoades mines and more I started looking in 1976 with a friend that taught me all about the mines He learned from a professor at U of U, in 2003 I had been to at least 15 mines and or Spanish cashes by following Spanish maps and now 59, GPS for all – for sale see on ksl.com
I have a brand new clue, an old timer told me a story of murder and deceit To prove that I know what I’m talking about hear is a little hint. "When you see the red and white cliff, don’t sit on a fence." Anyone want to partner up?
I’m going up I150 to look for it tomorrow, I got a really good lead
This is a great documentary, thanks!
It’s guarded, and it’s on reservation land, and be prepared to mysteriously die without a trace if you get too close.
listening closely I see you have solved the mystery mr.Gelum. whether there is gold in those mountains or whether the Spanish looters brought it up from down south is beside the point it is the gold of the Americas No Doubt most importantly sir your fascinating portrayal and interviews of the native peoples indicate they LED an Insurrection against their tyrannical gold fevered Invaders. and they won because the great spirit is on their side and that is their land so now everyone knows why there is no commercial mining there stay out fools and stay out of Superstition Mountains too. as a footnote is it any wonder how the Mormon Church became so rich and Powerful? Do you think they’ve made it selling sheeps fur or oats
Gold has immense value in electronic properties, and in many other applications . There’s a reason it’s always been so valuable , but the rules of this world would never tell you that . Where do you think it has all gone ? Why ?
I am related to chief Tabby because I did trace my ansisterly from the Utah tribe and my last name is Tabbee but my elders tell me how great our family’s history is and I found somethings that are nice.
As if the greedy Mormon church needs anymore money. Im sure it was enough even back then for Brigham Young’s fat ass to live quite comfortably in his mansion.
Why isn’t there a link to the second clip in the sides? Now i have to go look for it. I didn’t capitalize that "i" after "Now"? because i’m lazy.
ill partner up no problem
Really really! It’s as real as Joe Smiths gold plates!
Sorry to disappoint you. I’m an Aztec descendant and the gold these people talk about is buried in mud in the southern Tenochtitlan road. No one was able to get it out. The Tenochtitlan Aztecs died, and it’s still there buried beneath tons of dirt and concrete. The Spanish heard dumb stories about El Dorado and the gold found are scraps and scraps have been found. The Spanish hid gold, but if real archeological pieces are left can be sold to the British Museum or the Getty Museum for a lot.
These guys are going to tell you a great story and there is, in fact, a great story to tell. When all is said and done it’s curious that there is no record of a ‘modern’ commercial mine in the Uinta’s. You’ll have thought that some of the old ‘Spanish’ workings that have been found would have some gold left???? It is a known fact that Thomas Rhodes brought a lot of gold with him from California where he had first settled. Old Brigham knew what he was doing when he ‘ask’ Thomas to come back to Utah (and bring his gold with him?)
