Not for all of the precious metals and stones in all of creation could you intice me underground while yet breathing. Not without one hell of a to-the-death fight.

I’ve operated all those type of hoists, stopers and jackeleg drills. Hate it, its a sucky job.

    HEY MAN!
Been out here for 35 yrs. and I still haven’t went through those mines?
Thanks to you. I just did.
I’ve done a lot of bow hunting closer to Victor. And back in the day when I was a bit younger. I built the Double Eagle and did a lot of the remodel on the Gold Rush casinos. Great video. Very informative. Later man.

At least the miners don’t have to worry about sun spots, and sun burns as much as people working outdoors.

I took this tour also, was sad to hear about the donkeys being left way down in the mine until Teddy Roosevelt came through and heard about it, didn’t like it, made them bring the donkeys out for sunshine a couple of hours per day but after some fell out of the harness taking them back up and died they gave up and just left them topside.

I lived in Colorado for many years I remember cripple Creek before it was a gambling town LOL the highway going up to creeper creek was a little bit different cuz you had to go through the little eye tunnel which is one way in and one way out I remember so many great things about that place even though old highway that went from cripple Creek to Vickers which is no longer there because the gold mining company destroyed everything there

  25. blastman8888 on November 20, 2021 at 10:55 am

One of the best underground gold mine tour because the mine never closed from 19th century it has been always open owned by the same family. Your not getting a fake setup mine or even a modern looking mine.

  26. 9 9 on November 20, 2021 at 10:57 am

Maybe it’s just me, but it looks so fake.

  27. Frederick P on November 20, 2021 at 10:58 am

Very cool tour!!! Will have to check it out next time we’re out that way. If you ever get out to the black hills in South Dakota there’s a couple of mine tours and old mines.
